What happens in a first homeopathic consultation
How a first consultation at Paras Homeopathy works: what to bring, how the case history is taken, what happens to existing medicines, and how follow-up is planned.

A first consultation at Paras Homeopathy takes longer than a follow-up. Most of that time goes into the case history, because the prescription is built from it.
Before you arrive
Bring whatever records you already have. They save time and help the doctor see how the complaint has behaved over months or years.
Previous prescriptions, homeopathic or conventional Laboratory reports, imaging and hospital discharge summaries A list of every medicine and supplement you take now, with doses Notes on when the complaint began and what makes it better or worse
The case history
The doctor asks about the main complaint first: when it started, how it has changed, and what has already been tried. The questions then widen to sleep, appetite, digestion, energy, sensitivity to heat and cold, and how you respond to stress.
These details can seem unrelated to the complaint. They are recorded because the prescription is chosen for the individual patient, not only for the diagnosis. Two patients with the same diagnosis are rarely prescribed the same way.
Reports and existing treatment
If you are on prescribed medication, you will not be asked to stop it. If the history or reports suggest that an investigation or a specialist opinion is needed, you will be told so directly.
Do not stop or change any prescribed medication on your own. Discuss any change with the doctor who prescribed it.
Medicines and follow-up
Medicines are dispensed from the clinic's own pharmacy, or shipped for online consultations. You will be told when to return. Follow-up visits are shorter: they review how you have responded and adjust the plan.
If you expect several months of follow-up, one payment can cover consultation, the first month of medicines and every follow-up. See the Bundle Plan .
How long treatment takes
This depends on the complaint, how long it has been present and how you respond. The doctor will tell you what to expect at the first visit. No outcome or timeline is guaranteed.
When you are ready, book a consultation .
